There was this other dream I had some days ago,

this small group of scientists were trying to find a way of growing more trees, & their solution was through this ritual that could turn someone into a tree, & the ritual was kinda like hypnosis where the person had to be willing to be turned into a tree.

If you were turned into a tree you would fall into an eternal slumber, but the scientists didn't know if you just slept or you just straight up died.

& another thing if you were turned into a tree, you would be surrounded by bark so on the outside you looked like a regular tree, but inside the bark you would be made entirely of wood.

After a while though, the tree people would start to uproot themselves & crawl with their roots, & started attacking things mindlessly because they were still asleep.

& then blah blah blah idk how but the tree people were woken up & a cure was found that could turn them back into regular people, it was some sort of fruit that wasn't well known but was easy to get & it kinda looked like a large dragon fruit.
